3 Faces of Evil - New aquaintences and a butt kicking

Episode 6: April 3, 2008

After barely escaping the falling ceiling and collapsing temple of Grallak, the surviving party members find themselves, once again, inteh central chamber of worship. The elevator has collapsed due tothe falling ceiling, and the passage, back up to Dourstones home is completely blocked by rubble. They also notice that a 2nd orb is now circling over the pool, making the swirling waters ove at a more rapid rate.

The inquisitive dwarven fighter during this down time, expresses an interest in the swirling pool. And as he gazes into its depths, decides to wade in, and immediatley vanishes within its depths. Quickly the Elven archer rushes to find him, decides he too is in need of a bath, and then he too vanishes within the cold murky depths of the central chambers pool. Braving the consequences of his actions, the mage then ties himslef to the rogue, and plunges into the water after his disappeared comrades.

The archer and the fighter materialise within a stone room and as they venture out, they realise they have entered into a maze. The rest of their comrades are in the same predicament, but not in the same area, and they have encountered another lost character. A monkish cleric who tells them of his trails and problems he has found within this labyrinth. Both parties eventually find each other, after a couple of ambushes and mimicry that tried to exploit their fears. A battle ensued between the party and a large roguish force, with the party EVENTUALLY and with the new cleric as the lone remaining combatent. After a bit of rest and revival, the party continued along into a inner sanctum, where the cleric was quickly robbed of all his smarts and spell ability by an undead hovering apparition of horror. The party were all frozen, aside from the rogue and mage, due to this horrific site. Along side the gastly ghoulish creature, were 2 acolytes of some type who immediatly sprinted away to warn their master of the newly found intruders.
