Beseiged by bugs !!!

Episode 2: Sept 20, 2007

After resting the night, which was uneventfull yet noisy, the Party wake up to find that all the traps and obstacles had been reset through the night. They once again ventured forth to talk to the Eggie elemental but he was having none of them today. they then decided to go abck to the sarcaphogus room and show their impetuous young street-wise fighter, what they had previously discovered.

Once there they took turns rotatiing the sarcaphogus, and examining, in turn, each of the shafts that held/didnt hold a coloured lantern. After pushing the sarcaphogus to point down the everlit green shaft, a rumbling was felt and heard from below their feet. Suddenly the floor, at the end of the green shaft, gave way and a tunnel down into the darkened depths lay befor them. As they were contemplating their next actions, a geyser of living bugs erupted from the depths, along with another creature, that could enslave each members with fear. A mighty battle ensued.

Once the battle was over and the party basked in their triumph, they proceeded to go down the darkened collapsed shaft. Here they encountered some more vile buglife as well as a too conveniant place to rest. Or so the clay statue with the giant club lef them to believe. After narrowingly rescuing their fighter and archer from a sleepy demise, they made their way back to the shaft floor and recooperated from the harowing experiences.
